HEALTH, SAFETY AND ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY
At Bernhoeft, our Health, Safety and Environmental Policy outlines the core guidelines that reflect our commitment to the principles of Sustainable Development.
Purpose
To formalize Bernhoeft’s commitment to preventing or mitigating significant adverse impacts in the areas of health, occupational safety, and the environment related directly to our operations, products, and services, as well as to our various social and business relationships.

⭢ Comply with environmental legislation relevant to our activities, in addition to mapping improvement opportunities to achieve the Company’s objectives;
⭢ Comply with Health and Safety regulations to prevent work-related accidents, occupational diseases, and incidents;
⭢ Promote a culture and practices of prevention, and encourage good health and safety practices;
⭢ Maintain a systematic process for recording, controlling, and analyzing cases of illness;
⭢ Maintain a hierarchy of controls with a systematic approach to improving occupational health and safety;
⭢ Identify the most relevant occupational and environmental risks in order to ensure safe and healthy working conditions, as well as to establish appropriate treatment, monitoring, and control measures, eliminating, neutralizing, or minimizing risks to workers’ health, safety, and the environment;
⭢ Promote mental health and the well-being of our employees;
⭢ Conduct awareness and health campaigns to share information and knowledge for preventive healthcare;
⭢ Prevent illnesses caused by extensive workloads, abusive working hours, and poor posture;
⭢ Adopt practices aimed at the efficient use of natural and other resources required
for our services;
⭢ Foster and develop social and environmental projects and initiatives based on the specific characteristics of the regions where we operate;
⭢ Seek opportunities to contribute to global sustainability goals aligned with our business, establishing partnerships and seeking solutions and technologies to support our sustainable development commitments;
⭢ Promote the continuous improvement of the HSE Management System.
Responsibility Matrix
HSE matters are the responsibility of everyone, both collectively and individually. All Leaders are expected to uphold and demonstrate this responsibility, especially through their example.
The partners of each Business Unit are corporately responsible for ensuring the proper implementation of the HSE Policy and may recommend its review at any time.
The managers of each Business Unit, along with their respective Leaders and with the support of those responsible for Health, Safety, and the Environment, are responsible for ensuring the daily implementation of this policy in operations.
